We just finished a big update to our Dealing with Insects page. If you haven't visited in a while, it's basically a different page now — rebuilt from scratch with summer in mind.
What's new
Filter tabs by category — instead of scrolling through everything, you can now jump straight to what you need:
- Skin (7 products) — sprays and lotions you apply directly, including both DEET and Icaridin options
- Home (11 products) — plug-in vaporizers, passive vaporizers (no power needed), room sprays, and outdoor hanging repellents
- Cockroach (18 products) — bait stations, sprays, and traps
- Fruit Fly (6 products) — traps and sprays for the kitchen
- Itch Relief (8 products) — for when you've already been bitten
Tap-to-expand product cards — tap any card and the full details pop up: active ingredients, how to use it, coverage area, how long it lasts. All pulled directly from the manufacturer's site or official package insert.
More products — the Home section in particular has grown a lot. If you've ever stood in the drugstore staring at a wall of mosquito plug-ins wondering what the difference is, the page should answer that now.
Still a work in progress — mosquito coils are coming next — but it's a lot more useful than it was. Worth bookmarking if you haven't already.
